In the period 19-21 April, an ORC seminar was held in Varna, where our media was present. The lecturers of the seminar, organized by Yacht club Bavaria yachts – Varna and LZ yachting1991, are the ORC Chief Measurer Zoran Grubisa /Croatia/ and ORC Rating Officer – Alberto Pindozzi/Italy/.The three – day seminar, which started with the presentation of a common part in the correct yacht measuring, ended with the full measuring of the Kaliakria yacht from Balchik and the training of cadres for future measures on the third last day.
Participation took over 20 people – representatives of sailing judges’ colleges from Burgas, Varna, and Romania from the Clubs of Balchik, Yacht club Cap. G. Georgiev – Port Varna, YC Bavaria yachts – Varna, SK Black Sea Briz, Yacht Club “Shipbuilder” Varna, YC Port Bourgas, as well as guests from Romania. The surprise of the organizer – Lz Yachting 1991 for the attendees of the lecture was the obtaining of a certificate confirming the rights of the participants in the seminar in Varna. Based on this to date, the number of ORC handlers in Bulgaria increased to 18, as a year ago after training in Gdansk, Poland, the first rights were obtained by Svetlin Karadzhov, Dimitar Novak, Lachezar Bratoev and Ilian Tenekedjiev. Two Romanian representatives – Valentin Oeru and Adrian Panait – also receive certificates. The new Bulgarian names are:
