Another sailing challenge starts in the waters of Varna Bay ….

From 19th to 21st July in the Aquatory of the Bay of Varna and Lake, the Conrad 25R Sailing National Championship is held. On the first race day, due to a banned sailing in the bay associated with the Breeze 2019 teachings, the races started in the lake. Eleven crews from Burgas, Varna, Sofia and Tsarevo joined the organizer’s prize contest.

After three races on the first day and with three victories, the crew of Phoenix yacht from VK Sineva Varna with skipper Bogomil Pehlivanov led to the standings, followed by Nunki (Alexander Kalchev, YC Cap.Georgi Georgiev- Port Varna), Impala (Ivan Kostadinov, MSC Sereko Tsarevo) and Metch (Daniel Nikolov, Cherno more Briz , Varna). Yesterday, a series of 3 races were held again, which consolidated the leadership positions a day before the end. The first is the crew of Phoenix from VK Sineva Varna with skipper Bogomil Pehlivanov, followed by Nunki (Alexander Kalchev, YC Cap. Georgi Georgiev – Port Varna) and third is Metch (Daniel Nikolov, SK Cherno more Briz, Varna). Today is the latest starts of the race in the Gulf of Varna, after which is the awarding of the winners ……

Organizers of the regatta are the Bulgarian Sailing Federation, hosted by the Sailing Club Sineva Varna, Chief Judge Henryh Kokonchev from RVSK-Varna.
