With 2 canceled starts and 2 completed in the last racing day, the Kaufland 2019 regatta in Limanu ended …..

The races on the last racing day were delayed due to lack of wind. The originally scheduled start for 11 hours was postponed until 13:50 when the actual racing part began. A very contested race and a strong athletic spirit, the contestants demonstrated. So in the overall ranking was led by Flying Cloud with skipper Catalin Luchian with 2 first honors, in second place was LZ Yachting 1991 with skipper - Lachezar Bratoev - with 2 second places in the general ranking and ORC A and number 3 was the Romanian yacht Hope with skipper - Mihai Fagarasan. With a “coastal race”, was held the official start of the regatta Kaufland in Romania …….

In the first race day of the Romanian Kaufland Regatta, part of the Alpha Bank Romania Cup, 3rd stage for the ORC & IRC classes, was held a coastal race with a starting time of 11:00 am, as planned by the Race Office. In the regatta, 49 yachts and 362 representatives from both countries - Romania and Bulgaria - were launched. The race as a whole was very tense because of the variable wind that until last held competitors at hand - distance. With a lot of preparations for starting the regatta, the registration day in Marina Limanu passed yesterday. In the 26th - 28th of July in aquatory of Varna lake , the Sailing State Championship will be held for the Olympic Classes - Laser Standard, Laser Radial, Finn and 470. Over 90% of nearly 60 participants from 9 Bulgarian clubs started on the first race day. The host of the competition is SK Black Sea Briz Varna. On the first day, four races were held for all classes, followed by Lyuben Tenekedzhiev (YC Port Bourgas) in Laser Standard, Mariela Nikolova (SK Black Sea Briz) at Laser Radial, Mikhail Kopanov (YC Port Bourgas) in Finn and Yana Vasileva / Ivaylo Angelov (OMC Nessebar 2000) in class 470. Earlier yesterday the organizers of the regatta Poseidon Balchik published the long-awaited Notice of Race. This year's edition marks the 8th edition of the Black Sea Sailing Trophy and the 7th edition of the Romania Cup. The expected start of the regatta was planned for the start of the sailing season, but due to a tactical teachings with Shabla 2018 shooting (9-15 June), a sailing ban was imposed in the area. The organizers did not have the easy task of choosing another convenient period for the regatta. So the regatta will be held from 29 August to 1 September. With 3 new races continued the 3rd day from the Laser Radial Women’s World Championship in Sakaiminato, Japan.

In splendid climatic conditions, the races in day 3 were held in Sakaiminato, Japan. Our Bulgarian representatives - Stefany Muzakova and Mariela Nikolova, entered the Silver Fleet (57-111) after finishing the qualification of the 2019 ILCA Laser Radial Women's World Championship. On yesterday after the 3 races in the Yellow fleet, Stefany Muzakova performed very well, finishing 46 - 44 - 42 and successfully starting its further participation in the finals under number 88. Another sailing challenge starts in the waters of Varna Bay ….

From 19th to 21st July in the Aquatory of the Bay of Varna and Lake, the Conrad 25R Sailing National Championship is held. On the first race day, due to a banned sailing in the bay associated with the Breeze 2019 teachings, the races started in the lake.
